Why Learn Web Development

You can flex your creativity and problem-solving skills as a web developer, one of the most in-demand, high-paying jobs in tech. Web developers write the code for how to make an application or website work. Developing a website's design is the focus of a front-end Web Developer. Back-end developers are responsible for the structure of software applications, servers, and databases. As a full stack developer, you have the knowledge of both front-end and back-end development. As a web developer, you may specialize in becoming a software developer, a junior software engineer, and even more.

Most web developers can work remotely from anywhere in the world. Freelancers who work as Web developers are also able to become their own bosses.

The Demand for Web Developers

From Ohio to the United States as a whole, software developers are in high demand. According to research from EMSI, more than 100,000 jobs will be added within the Cleveland region for web development roles over the next 10 years.

According to data from Lightcast™ . 2022, employment of software developers is projected to grow 32% percent from 2020 to 2030. Businesses actively seeking web development professionals span across all industries and sizes, including local high-tech employers like Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Paycom, to name a few.

Hiring for roles like Back-End Engineer, Computer Programmer, Full-Stack Engineer, and Web Developer, these companies are rapidly growing and building out their software development teams. Cleveland State Coding Bootcamp grads will be well equipped for these roles and many others.
